HI!, for Your subframe, take one good at the scrapyard and cut over you need and cut Your sub where is geed enougg to weld the sub You parted on the other car, measure, adjust and veld, thait's it!, it's easy if You have the tols, time and a bit of ability in a welding/assembling.

Subframe of all swift/geo/sprint, ect, from 89~2001 will fit here, and maybe the esteem subframe is identical, but i'm not sure, if You have a good floor, and not a rotted one like a swiss cheese, go for it!.

Good luck, Your car Look really great, I'll guess is have a chance for a longer life if You work on this failure.

Regards,

Dom.

The Esteem's ''subframes'' is a cradle , Dom, isn't the same things. But..isn't too strong(Same problem), like the Swift subframe

Last week I see the uunderbody of an esteem lifted in a garage for the first time, and I see the front wishbone and really look the same pattern of a swift, except the crossmember as well.

But if Steve put another good subframe from a donor car, the life of the car will be extended by 10, no?.

I ask this because repairing the wishbone frame is a pita, You need to pull off the cv joint, and for a better job, the complete engine/transmission to work easily.

I rebuilted the wishbone of a 1996 Fly 4-5 years ago, and with the driveshaft, and all the shit around was not very easy and fynny.

I'll re-chech the esteem subframe/wishbone, My neighboors have an station wagon esteem, and I'll re-check very closely.

See ya!,

Salut,

Dominique.
